I had a dream that I was on vacation somewhere (I think?) I can’t remember exactly. But I was getting ready to leave a hotel room with my mom and get on a plane, when I was all of a sudden hit with tooth pain. I knew whatever it was wasn’t normal, so my mom and I decided to reschedule our flight because there was no way I’d be able to eat or drink anything, let alone make the trip/flight back. The pain was coming from my bottom left back two teeth. The second to the last tooth was practically sideways exposing a hole in my gums/very back tooth. We went to the hospital where my mom had apparently worked once (she’s a nurse,) and they had me fill out paperwork. The hospital wasn’t a normal hospital though; it looked and felt strange. I eventually went back into a room and the whole experience felt very dystopian and not like the real world. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t see a dentist and why I was at a hospital instead seeing a nurse. The only thing I remember is that it was a Sunday and maybe that’s why I couldn’t get in to see a dentist. There were a couple of other things that happened in the dream and once I was in a room, but it all happened so quickly and then I woke up, so there’s no way for me to even convey what happened.
This dream likely reflects feelings of stress, unease, and possibly a sense of being unprepared or vulnerable in your waking life. The tooth pain and dental issues in the dream could symbolize underlying worries or concerns that you may be dealing with, but haven't fully acknowledged or addressed. The fact that the dream takes place while getting ready to travel and on vacation could suggest a desire for escape or a need for a break from your current responsibilities or circumstances. The hospital setting, particularly with your mom working there, could represent a need for care, support, or guidance in navigating difficult or uncertain situations. The dystopian and surreal elements of the dream may indicate a feeling of being out of control or disconnected from reality in some aspect of your life. The fact that you couldn't see a dentist and were at a hospital could symbolize a need to focus on addressing underlying emotional issues or seeking help for mental or physical well-being. Overall, this dream may be prompting you to pay attention to any unresolved issues or stresses that are impacting your overall well-being.
